Custom Lighting & Translucent Ceilings
Custom lighting & translucent ceiling fabrication achieved by use of a variety of available translucent membranes and aluminum frames. Our translucent membrane is an excellent product for ceiling lighting projects; it can be used virtually with any lighting source as well as utilized in the applications where front or rear projection is necessary. Translucent membrane ceiling has approximately 74% transparency rate and provides absolutely even diffusion if installed under factory guide lines. Very special lighting effects can be achieved by bringing light source closer to the fabric and creating hot spotting. Our preferred lighting is fluorescent or led, however any kind of lighting source can be used. Most spectacular results we’ve achieved by using led systems by Color Kinetics. Any custom lighting & translucent ceiling fabrication project consists of aluminum non-corrosive profiles and translucent UL Classified membrane. The BARRISOL material can be fixed using our aluminium track to demountable frames for frequent access; the membrane is always removable in either configuration. Additionally the membrane could be screen printed, inkjet printed or painted for company logos or art work. Single Panel widths from the roll product can be either 59", 70" or 78" wide, larger panels will have a small welded ultrasonic seam and can be made up to 400 sq ft. Alternatively for lower maintenance lighting the track can be permanently fixed to the perimeter structure allowing the material to be unclipped, cleaned & refitted by our operatives.
